Love this post DG- one of my favorites so far!! I totally identify with you- I am a seeker of change, with a change-resistant partner. And I really appreciate your view on how these personalities are good for each other- I have found that to be truer than ever!! Friends forever (and where ever!). xoxo

I did Bikram a few times (read: 5) when I got a Groupon for that studio right in Ballston and whereas I liked it, I didn't LOVE it, so I couldn't justify the cost and time commitment. But I was definitely a fan of how it felt while I was doing it... anything that pushes me to and beyond my limits is always good in my book. But the flexibility you can gain from regular yoga? Can't beat it. I really need to do more than my current level of zero.

Hi Chase! First you have to endure the pain that is the Social Security Office. That was far worse than the DMV from my experience! And then you'll have to wait for that card in the mail before you can go to the DMV. Always a pleasure taking care of this kind of business. Have you used/heard of www.missnowmrs.com? That was a great resource to get all the forms I needed and told me what to do when.

Thanks for stopping by! I've really enjoyed our time back here in Texas, and I am loving exploring and trying new things. Definitely check out Reunion Tower... I always say you don't need a special occasion to do something nice. And going somewhere for lunch or drinks is an easy commitment, as opposed to an expensive dinner. :)

Just found your blog and wanted to welcome you (back) to Texas. Have enjoyed reading about the restaurants and bars you have found in Dallas so far, I have been here for almost 9 years and have still not made it to Reunion Tower/Five Sixty! I think I think of it as a dressy place so I need a big event to go to dinner there. Now I think I will take my husband there for drinks just to check out the view.
